As a result, The Daily Paws provides a complete vitamin and nutritional source that your dog and cat needs, containing all necessary vitamins (vitamin A, vitamin B complex, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, and vitamin K); minerals (high levels of calcium, potassium, iron, and zinc); proteins (22%); fiber content (23%); alkaloids; healthy fatty acids; high concentrations of chlorophyll, a variety of liposoluables; phytochemicals; amino acids such as melatonin, cistine and and saponines; digestive enzymes; phytosterols; phytoestrogens; flavones; isoflavones; flavonoids; folate; saponins; tannins; sterols; coumarin; inositol, plus a variety of trace minerals.

Recommened Use

ALS, Adult, Senior, Puppy, Kitten; for disease prevention, chronic cases and rehabilitative periods, for senior, geriatric, convalescing, stressed or compromised pets, when a nutritional edge is required, for performance and working animals and for endocrine support.

Ingredients*

Gelatin capsules. Contains a proprietary adaptogen plant blend including Non-GMO Alfalfa and Caja.

Turkey flavored capsules.

Our capsules are certified Kosher and Halal, and meet all requirements of European Pharmacopoeia (EP), and the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP).

Contraindications

Do not use if your pet is pregnant or nursing, is using immune suppressant or if your pet suffers from hormone sensitive cancer or latent systemic lupus erythematosus.

Alfalfa might reduce blood sugar levels and may increase the effectiveness of medicines used to treat diabetes. Alfalfa might potentiate diuretic, anticoagulant and immune medications and may interfere with drugs used to suppress this system.

Drug Interactions

May interact with Warfarin and may increase the effects or diuretic, diabetic, anti-coagulant and immune suppressant medications. Alfalfa might reduce blood sugar levels and may increase the effectiveness of medicines used to treat diabetes. Do not use if you have received a transplanted organ or if you are taking immune system suppressors.

Cautions

Use caution if your pet has gout or using diuretic, diabetic or anti-coagulant medications. Animals with latent systemic lupus erythematosus have had relapse after using Alfalfa. Alfalfa may increase the rate of metabolism of xenobiotics in the liver.

Due to Alfalfa's high potassium content, pets with chronic kidney insufficiency, hypoaldosteronism, or who are using potassium-altering medications should use caution when using Alfalfa due to the risk of hyperkalemia.

Animals sensitive to pollen may be sensitive to fresh Alfalfa. It should not be given to pregnant or lactating animals unless otherwise instructed by a veterinarian. As with any supplement or herb, always consult with your holistic veterinarian before giving it to your pet.

Dosage

Dogs and cats up to 12 pounds: 1 capsule, one time daily. Dogs and cats 13-25 pounds: 1 capsule, two times daily. Dogs and cats 26-50 pounds: 2 capsules, two times daily.

Dogs 51-75 pounds: 3 capsules, two times daily.

Dogs 76+ pounds: 4 capsules, two times daily.
